Delete your TORKO account

TORKO (package lt.torko.obd, developer Zenonas Valeika) lets you delete your account and everything in it. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no undo, and we cannot restore a deleted account.

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest way and takes about ten seconds:

1. Open TORKO.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and all of the data listed below are erased from our servers straight away, and the app signs you out and wipes its local copy.

If you can no longer sign in, email info@torko.eu from the address you registered with, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and delete it within 30 days — in practice within 1–2 working days.

What is deleted

• Your account and email address.
• Every vehicle in your garage, including the VIN and decoded vehicle details.
• Every scan: fault codes, freeze frames, readiness monitors, live-data recordings, battery and drive-test results.
• Odometer readings recorded from the car.
• Photos you uploaded of your vehicle.
• AI explanations and assistant conversations.
• Registry and history lookups you ran.
• Any report links you shared — they stop working immediately.
• Model reviews and ratings you left.

What stays, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you stays. Two things survive deletion because they are not personal data and were never linked to your identity:

• Anonymous vehicle statistics — counts such as "this module answered on this model" or "this fault code appears on this generation". These hold no VIN, no account and no personal data; they are what makes the app better at reading the next car.
• Reference data — fault-code descriptions, recalls and crash-test ratings. That is public information about vehicles, not about you.

A car you had shared with another TORKO account stays in that person's garage; your own ownership record, scans and history are removed regardless.

Server backups roll over within 30 days, after which deleted data is gone from those too. We keep no separate archive of deleted accounts.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not have to close the account to remove things from it:

• A vehicle — in Garage, swipe the car and choose Delete. Its scans, fault history, odometer readings, photo and shared reports go with it.
• A shared report link — open the report and revoke it; the link stops working immediately.
• A review you left — open the model and delete your review.
• Anything else — email info@torko.eu from your registered address, saying what you want removed. We do it within 30 days, in practice within 1–2 working days.

The account, and everything you have not asked us to remove, stays as it is.

Just want your data?

You do not have to delete the account to get a copy. Settings → Export data gives you everything in a machine-readable file.
