Privacy policy

TORKO collects and stores vehicle diagnostic data. By using the app you agree to this — there is no switch to turn data collection off.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND STORE

• VIN, make, model, year, engine, fuel type
• fault codes, their status, dates, reporting control module, freeze frame data
• mileage from every control module and any value you enter manually
• scan data: date, adapter type, protocol, battery voltage
• account data: email, list of vehicles, subscription status
• technical app logs.

WHAT WE USE IT FOR

• fault explanations (AI) and the AI chat
• per-VIN vehicle history — so you can see whether a fault was cleared and came back
• service quality, statistics and improvement
• vehicle-history services: anonymized per-VIN data (without your name, email or contact details) may be passed on or sold to partners — vehicle history providers, workshops, dealers.

WHAT OTHERS SEE

Other users of the same VIN see the scan and fault history, never your name, email or contact details.

AI SERVICES

Fault data (code, make, model, year, mileage) is sent to an AI provider to generate the explanation. Your contact details are not sent.

WORKSHOP INQUIRIES

If you send an inquiry yourself, the contact details you enter are passed to kalo.lt network workshops.

RETENTION

Account data — for as long as you have an account. Per-VIN diagnostic history is kept indefinitely: that continuity is the point of the service.

YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)

You can export your data (Settings → Export data) and delete your account. Deleting the account removes personal data permanently; anonymized diagnostic history stays with the VIN with no link to you.
