U0127 Lost communication with tyre pressure monitor module
What U0127 means
The tyre pressure monitoring module receives signals from the tyre sensors and reports pressures to the instrument cluster. U0127 means other modules stopped receiving its messages. Tyre pressure warnings will not work until it is fixed.
U0127 is a generic SAE J2012 code: it means the same on every make. The exact cause still depends on the car, so read the freeze-frame data before replacing parts.

Symptoms
- Tyre pressure warning light on or flashing
- Tyre pressures not shown on the display
- TPMS fault message
- No warning if a tyre loses pressure
Common causes
- Blown fuse supplying the TPMS module
- Damaged wiring or corroded connector
- Low battery voltage
- CAN bus wiring fault
- Failed TPMS module
Can I keep driving with U0127?
You can drive, but check tyre pressures manually until it is repaired, because the system will not warn you of a puncture. Have it checked within one or two weeks.
What to check first
- Check tyre pressures with a gauge
- Check the TPMS module fuse and battery voltage
- Try to communicate with the module and inspect its connector
- Replace or reprogram the module if it does not respond
