P0660 Intake manifold tuning valve control circuit/open (bank 1)
What P0660 means
The engine control unit cannot correctly operate the valve that changes the intake manifold's air path to improve torque at different engine speeds. The engine still runs, but power may be reduced in part of the rev range.
P0660 is a generic SAE J2012 code: it means the same on every make. The exact cause still depends on the car, so read the freeze-frame data before replacing parts.

- Slight hesitation
- Possible rattle from the intake area
Common causes
- Failed intake manifold tuning valve actuator or solenoid
- Loose or corroded connector
- Broken wire in the control circuit

Can I keep driving with P0660?
You can keep driving, but have it checked within one to two weeks.
What to check first
- Inspect the valve connector and wiring
- Check the supply voltage and control signal at the valve
- Command the valve with a scan tool and check it moves
- Replace the actuator or valve if it does not respond
